During his appointment as Blount Professor, Dr. 韦斯特将完成他的下一本书， Thunder on the Euphrates: The 150th Combat Engineers in Iraq in 2005.  The book, under contract with Osprey/Bloomsbury, will tell the story of the transformation 美国的.S. Major General Buford "Buff" Blount retired from the Army on January 1, 2005 after serving as the Army’s Deputy G-3 (responsible for operations, including staff duties, exercise planning, training, operational requirements, combat development & 战术 学说)自2003年10月起生效.
